Job description

Do you have I&E Planning experience in an Chemical Engineering environment, and are you seeking a new role in Hull? NES Fircroft is helping a collaborative and inclusive team find an I&E Planner to create in-depth plans for maintenance activities.

In this role, you will work as part of the Asset team and take responsibility for maintenance activities on that asset. You will take ownership of asset condition and maintenance performance, focusing on critical job steps checking of spares and estimation of durations for I&E-specific maintenance activities.

During your first few weeks as I&E Planner, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:

• Ensuring compliance with HSSE standards and expectations set through the company's Life Saving Rules and 20 Safety Principles
• Delivering against front-end maintenance KPIs and suggesting interventions to achieve measurable improvements where required
• Delivering work in line with the agreed maintenance planning processes/workflow, developing cross-discipline team capability to provide appropriate quality work specifications into the schedule and, ultimately, the field
• Working with Operations, Asset teams, Engineering Integrity, and Projects to ensure high-quality work identification and specification and assign the correct priority to the work to be completed
• Specifying safe and appropriate maintenance within the bounds set by the various budget holders and maintenance strategies
• Supporting the coaching of notification creators to deliver â right first time' maintenance requests to the maintenance planning teams

To apply for this Maintenance Planner role, you must be able to effectively manage the planning and delivery of maintenance activities. The ability to form good working relationships with the support services team and the current term contractor for supporting trades will be vital to success.
