We re seeking a highly skilled Mechanical/Construction Superintendent to join our client s team for a full-time 37.5 hour per week, 6 to 12-month contract based in Billingham.

As Mechanical/Construction Superintendent, you ll play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they re completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

You will be:

• Supervising and managing all aspects of mechanical and construction operations on-site
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
• Conducting regular inspections and assessments of construction sites
• Providing guidance and support to construction teams and subcontractors
• Monitoring project progress and report on any issues or delays

• Proven experience as a Mechanical/Construction Superintendent or similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
