Job description

My client is a leading law firm seeking a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their team in Huddersfield.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conveyancing and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide secretarial and administrative support to the department
Assist with the preparation of legal documents
Liaise with concerned parties including clients, solicitors, and estate agents to manage the conveyancing process
Ensure personal and departmental deadlines are met
Draft correspondence and emails
Manage incoming and outgoing post
Answer telephone calls and respond to queries

Requirements:

At least 1 years' experience working as a legal secretary - preferably within conveyancing
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
Ability to work well under pressure and ensure deadlines are kept
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
