Job Title: Junior Product Manager

Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week

Job Status: Fixed Term until 31 March 2025 (potential to extend with subject to funding)

Location: Leeds Office based with opportunities for agile (hybrid) working

Salary: £39,363.25 per annum

Skills for Care has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Product Manager to join our Digital, Data and Technology Team.

The purpose of the role is to manage digital products through their lifecycle, from discovery to live production, ensuring alignment with user needs and organisational goals. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, managing resources, and using agile methodologies to deliver high-quality digital solutions, while continuously improving products based on user feedback and market trends. Additionally, it includes managing external vendors, ensuring compliance with digital standards, and contributing to the overall digital strategy of Skills for Care.

We are looking for a person who is experienced in product ownership, with a proven ability to manage products and services from development through delivery and financial oversight. You will have a strong background in user-centered design, using data insights to prioritise and shape roadmaps. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will need to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, able to work independently, and adaptable to shifting priorities. Knowledge of digital, data, and technology standards, as well as experience working with multidisciplinary teams, is crucial.
