Principal Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Property Services team. You will be responsible for leading the delivery of a variety of UK-based projects, primarily in Commercial Offices, Retail, Education, and Healthcare sectors. The role involves work winning, team management, and providing technical support across a range of frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver projects, providing technical support and ensuring client satisfaction

  • Manage team development, recruitment, and project delivery

  • Conduct post-occupancy engineering activities, feasibility studies, and technical reporting

  • Undertake design, specification, site monitoring, and performance specification work

  • Collaborate with clients and manage risks related to technical and commercial aspects

Requirements:

  • Chartered (or working towards) in Mechanical Engineering

  • Experience in refurbishment, fit-out, and existing building projects

  • Expertise in Building Services and property knowledge

  • Strong technical report writing and client-facing skills

  • Ability to manage projects and teams effectively
