This is a highly visible role that will work across the UKI division to support the delivery of the people agenda with a creative approach to communication and engagement.
Primarily, we're a 'UKI-first' communications team focusing our efforts to building an engaging and consistent strategic narrative for all UKI colleagues, no matter their brand, function or location. We want to show our people the benefits of being part of a wider division, whilst spotlighting and celebrating our local successes and brands.
As part of your role, you'll partner with our People & Change leadership team to deliver both local function communications and events (to the UKI People Team) as well as business-wide communications to keep colleagues up to date with our strategic initiatives, policies and people offerings. This dual-lens approach will require great stakeholder management, with an acute awareness of balancing the needs of the function's leadership and priorities whilst championing the opportunities that we have as a wider divisional comms team.
This role will report to the Head of Internal Communications and you will be working closely with the wider Internal Communications team supporting the stable of iconic brands. As well as working with the planning and channels leads, and supported by our creative studio. Your key stakeholders will include the Chief People Office and the People Leadership Team.
To be successful, this role will combine excellent internal communication expertise, innovative thinking and a deep understanding of cultural transition in a face-paced, modern organisation that is growing rapidly and continually changing.

What it will take to succeed:

  • At least 5 years' experience working at a management level in internal communications or marketing roles with a sound knowledge of communication best practice - or can demonstrate the essential skills required.
  • Proven track record in the delivery of high-impact communications plans to help deliver desired business outcomes.
  • Significant experience in the support and delivery of bringing People, Change and business strategies to life.
  • Sound business acumen, good organisational awareness and strategic approach to problem solving.
  • Significant ability to manage multiple programmes and projects and senior stakeholders with potentially conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to work on your own to drive business outcomes based on insight provided and where necessary commission bespoke reports.
  • Professionally qualified to degree level or equivalent.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the credibility to advise senior managers and directors.
  • Ability to build constructive and collaborative working relationships.
  • Excellent written and presentation communication skills.

If this is the role for you please submit your CV at your earliest convenience.
