Job description

We are currently looking for Assistant Quantity Surveyors in the Leeds area, to join the busy teams of various clients of ours, working in the Construction sector.

Only applicants with previous experience or qualifications in this role will be considered and although the types of companies we are recruiting for are in different fields of construction, there are certain attributes that will be expected in each role.

These attributes are as follows:-

• Have the ability to assist with the production of detailed and accurate tender submissions from both drawings and specifications or from Bills of Quantities.
• Have a knowledge of JCT and NEC Contracts.
• A reasonable knowledge of Excel is essential.
• Be confident in assisting with leading a team in the preparation of tenders, monthly applications and quotations for variations.
• Have good communication skills both with their seniors, their team and the companies clients and suppliers.
• Can work to deadlines to ensure tender submissions, variation costs and applications are submitted on time.
• Must have a Driving License.

The positions offer healthy packages which include the following:-

• A healthy annual salary of up to 40,000 p/a based on knowledge of the industry and previous experience in the role.
• An attractive package will be offered to the successful candidate, this will reflect on previous experience, knowledge and suitability, but will include as a minimum Company Phone, Laptop, Pension, Mileage and 28 days holiday and for many of the companies a car allowance.
