Plant Fitter (Mobile machinery)

Plant Fitter (Mobile machinery) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire - rate to £30 ph DOE -

My Sheffield based client urgently requires a Plant Fitter to work on mobile machinery (360 excavators, Loading shovels, Crushers, Handlers etc)

As a Plant Fitter your responsibilities are to conduct routine inspections, maintenance, servicing and repairs of mobile plant equipment such as trucks, loaders, and compactors, diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely and efficient solutions, perform planned maintenance activities to prevent equipment breakdowns, maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair tasks, collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment availability and reliability and comply with safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.

You will have proven experience as a Plant Fitter with knowledge of heavy mobile plant machinery and their maintenance requirements, have strong technical and mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues and effective problem-solving skills with a commitment to safety and compliance with regulations. Any experience of HGV mechanics a distinct advantage

This role offers a superb opportunity with a fantastic salary of circa £65,000 plus overtime and is commutable from South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Sheffield, Leeds, Wakefield, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Chesterfield, Doncaster, Rotherham,
