Job description

Search are currently supporting a company in York in the recruitment of a purchase ledger clerk! the role is hybrid working and will be 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

reporting to the finance manager you'll be responsible for liaising with suppliers and investigating/resolving queries, processing daily,weekly and monthly payment runs, accurate coding verifying and processing of purchase invoices, posting and allocation of supplier payments and other admin payments, other ad hoc duties as required to support the efficient running of the purchase ledger.

personal attributes

  • at least 2 years of previous experience as a purchase ledger.
  • excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise their workload
  • flexibility
  • good attention to detail
  • excellent communication skills
  • good it skills including the use of Microsoft and excel

salary is 27,000 dependant on experience. There are lots of company benefits such as a company pension, free parking, and hybrid working.
