Title: Shift QC Technician
Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: 30,000- 35,000 per annum
Term: Permanent

SRG is working with a leading manufacturer of personal care products, based in West Yorkshire, who have a fantastic company culture. They are now looking for a Shift QC Technician to join in a role which will involve using wet chemistry techniques to ensure products meet specifications, as well as some small-scale continuous improvement projects. This position would be an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Quality Control or lab-based testing to join a genuinely supportive and lively team.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a fortnightly rotating shift pattern - 5:45am-1:45pm / 1:45pm-9:45pm / 9:45pm-5:45am

Role / Description

• QC testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished product to check batches meet specifications
• Lab techniques include PH testing, viscosity, Karl Fischer, moisture content, FTIR
• Making adjustments to batches to achieve in-spec products
• Work in harmony with Production to achieve delivery of production plans
• Developing and managing small scale continuous improvement projects

Requirements

• Previous experience in QC testing or wet chemistry testing (all industry background considered)
• Practical experience of wet chemistry techniques as listed above
• Strong communications skills and good maths skills
• Full right to work in the UK - there is no sponsorship available for this role
• Full UK driving license and own transport
