Job description

Our client, an engineering business in Leeds, seek to appoint a Quality Administrator to their expanding team. As Quality Administrator you will have a varied role supporting the QESH Manager with day-to-day admin and support activities. You will not engage in direct quality or health and safety activity, but will support the quality team with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department. You will need to have a basic understanding of engineering, excellent attention to detail, be well organised and have great skills with Microsoft Office applications. You'll be joining a genuinely market leading and expanding business that offer long term stability in a positive atmosphere.

Quality Administrator Role and Responsibilities Administration / Quality / Procedural / Health / Safety / Microsoft Office / QESH

Support the quality team with day-to-day administration
Liaise with quality and health and safety teams to collate, file, archive and distribute (to customers, suppliers and manufacturers) quality and health and safety related paperwork
Manage training records
Co-ordinate with internal and external test providers over calibration certificates and associated documentation
Originate (in conjunction with QESH Manager and the quality and health and safety teams) standard operating procedures for the design team to follow
Quality Administrator - Skills and Abilities - Administration / Quality / Procedural / Health / Safety / Microsoft Office / QESH

An excellent standard of English and Maths
A methodical / process driven / procedural mindset, and naturally well organised with a good eye for detail
A self-starter comfortable with periods of lone working after being given a project to work on
Excellent computer skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
Some exposure to engineering / manufacturing
An understanding of engineering terminology would be beneficial but isn't essential
