Shift Maintenance Engineer (known internally as Technical Coordinator)
Location: Hellaby (Home of KP Nuts)
Shift Pattern: 24/7 (a combination of 12 hour shifts 07:00-19:00/19:00-07:00 worked over a 5 week shift pattern - this can be discussed in more detail at interview)

As a Technical Coordinator, you'll provide essential technical engineering support to our production team, ensuring our equipment runs smoothly. This role follows a 24/7 shift pattern, so flexibility is key.
What you will be doing:
Safety & Compliance: Conduct safety checks, ensure all work complies with safety regulations, and contribute to improving maintenance schedules
Maintain Equipment Reliability: Perform inspections and maintenance to ensure the mechanical and electrical integrity of our equipment, identifying and resolving issues quickly
Monitor & Report: Track equipment performance, manage downtime, and report any breakdowns or trends using the company's reporting systems
Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to processes and work standards, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency
Collaborate & Communicate: Share key information with colleagues and other shifts, ensuring smooth handovers and clear documentation

We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Formal qualification to at least City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 or equivalent in an electrical discipline with corresponding practical experience
Any experience of pneumatics or PLC's will be advantageous, as will be the ability to clearly understand engineering drawings, symbols and notation
Knowledge of COSHH to legislative standards (essential)
Continuous improvement experience/Lean tools/techniques
