A great opportunity has arisen for a Shift Manager to join an established and successful leading food manufacturing organisation based in the North Yorkshire area. This is a permanent position offering competitive salary, good benefits and a Monday to Saturday day pattern

The successful Shift Manager will be responsible for:

• Responsible for managing the day-to-day shift production
• Ensuring that health and safety expectations are met at all times
• Ensuring the factory runs safely and effectively at all times
• Ensuring maximum production output
• Delivering the daily and weekly production plan
• Lead, manage & drive the production team to achieve KPIs

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience of working in a similar role within a FMCG environment preferably from the food industry. You should have knowledge of food safety systems and factory standards within a production environment . You should also have strong analytical and problem solving skills. A knowledge of thermoforming machines would be beneficial but is not essential. The role will suit a "hands on" self-starter with a "can do" attitude

This role offers an attractive salary 43,000 and good benefits. Working a Monday to Saturday 4/6 shift pattern and the business is commutable from is commutable from Malton, Scazrborough,Driffield, York, Pickering and surrounding areas.
