Position: Care Home Chef
Location: Wharfeside - Otley
Salary: £26,845 (£12.87 per hour)

We are currently seeking an Experienced Chef to join our catering team and contribute to the exceptional dining experience we provide for our residents.
Role Overview:In partnership with our Chef Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner for up to 63 residents. All meals are made using fresh, seasonal ingredients, and knowledge of special dietary requirements is essential to ensure we meet the individual needs of our residents.
Key Details:
- Hours: 4 days per week, 40 hours total (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

- Salary: £26,845 annually (£12.87 per hour) - all hours worked are paid

What will you be doing & need?
Reporting into the Chef Manager, responsibilities will include:
- To produce nutritious, quality meals using fresh seasonal produce.
- Supervising the catering assistants on shift.
- Maintaining compliance with food safety and health & safety procedures.
Required knowledge & experience:
- NVQ/C&G/SVQ in Catering
- Working with fresh seasonal produce
- Health & safety legislation including COSHH and HACCP
- Proven experience in a similar environment
- Knowledge of dietary requirements relating to older people
- Knowledge of IDDSI is preferred.
- Experienced in making Cakes and Baking
