Job description

Halcyon are a family owned Health and Social Care Consultancy working with adults and children with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health Needs, Substance Misuse, Emotional Behavioural Disorders, and those who are at risk of Homelessness.

We are looking for dedicated local support workers who have a minimum of 6-months UK experience and are interested in becoming a part of an agency that values them, provides consistent work, and understands how to place them into services that match their skill set and experience.

You will become part of our incredible York and North Yorkshire support worker team, delivering emotional and practical care to vulnerable adults and children, and improving their lives on a daily basis.

Typical shifts run 7am 230pm / 230pm 10pm / 10pm 7am (for waking nights and sleep-ins)

What we are looking for in our support workers:

A minimum of 6 months experience as a Support Worker or Health care assistant

Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week (Unless you have weekend availability)

Reliability and Professionalism

- A satisfactory enhanced DBS and Adults Barred List check is required for this role and job offers will be subject to evidence of the successful applicant s right to work in the UK.
