Part-time Primary School Caretaker job in Sheffield.

Hays Education Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sheffield. We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students and are currently seeking a reliable and diligent caretaker to join the team.
Your new role
This school caretaker job is part-time and will consist of:

Ensure the school premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.

Oversee the security of the school buildings and grounds.

Conduct regular health and safety checks.

Assist with setting up school events and activities.

Keyholder responsibility

Part-time hours are approximately 5.5 hours each day

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would be:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Knowledge of compliance and health & safety regulations.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and organisational skills.

A proactive and flexible approach to work.

Joiner/maintenance background (desirable)

This job is a temporary position, we will need to be able to obtain references to cover the last 2 years as a minimum and you will need to be willing to undergo a DBS check if you don't already have a DBS on the update service.
