Job description

The Solution Architect role is responsible for delivering architecture and solution designs to ensure business outcomes are met. They will be reporting into the Global Head of GRC systems with accountability for end-to-end delivery.

This is a Hybrid role (3 days/week in office) at Sheffield, UK.

• Excellent understanding of the concept of Enterprise Architecture and its relationship to business strategy and target operating models and how to relate this to an architecture roadmap and a solid understanding of general architectural concepts principles governance and best practices
• Understanding of regulatory requirement such as Financial Compliance Operational Risk Management Model Risk Management and Regulatory Change Management
• Direct experience of working closely with business stakeholders to translate business strategies and target operating models into functional architecture and systems roadmaps
• Experience of project delivery using Agile or Iterative methodologies and frameworks DevOps
• Experience in other architecture disciplines such as data or business architecture
• Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
• Excellent analytical and strategy skills able to see the bigger picture
• Good understanding of the project development life cycle and project management and planning and experience in managing the architectural elements of a project plan
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with senior leaders across the business
