Job description

We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager who has experience within the Oil and Gas Sector. This role is vital to the growth of the business, strategic thinking is critical to succeed in this position.

Purpose of Position
â Develops and implements a market driven sales strategy that drives revenue and margin growth
â Ensure objectives are fully aligned with BU s strategic plan and business unit goals
â Builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals
â Drives key BU growth opportunities increasing leads generated and bids submitted
â Maintains an extensive knowledge of current market conditions and developing opportunities
â Develops and enhances our existing market position across the full range of products, services and training
â Works to defined business development objectives within tiered key accounts
â Identifies and develops adjacencies across both markets and applications
â Utilises and supports the development of processes and tools that drives proactive key account management activities
â Seeks to continually raise the bar on sales performance and personal development focus areas
â Accurately maps, documents and reports key data and activities related to business development function

Role Responsibilities:
Develops and implements a market driven sales strategy that drives revenue and margin growth
Builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals
Internal Customer Management & Service Orientation
Drives key BU growth opportunities increasing leads generated and bids submitted
Works to defined business development objectives within tiered key accounts
Utilises and supports the development of processes and tools that drives proactive opportunity development activities
Seeks to continually raise the bar on sales performance and personal development focus areas
Qualifications & Requirements
â Preferably educated to degree level, or possesses relevant business and industry experience
â Strong and thorough knowledge of the oil & gas market including key stakeholders
â Thorough understanding of market trends, regional influences & IOC/NOC drivers
â Associated knowledge of oil & gas facilities & assets including MRO and capital projects activities & revenue streams
â Knowledge of industrial passive fire protection methods and applications advantageous
â Ability and willingness to travel globally
â Travel 50% of the time both domestically and internationally
â Able to perform key elements of the role to a high standard continually raising the bar
â Full Driving Licence (3 points or less)
