Job description

Excel Industrial is looking for a skilled Fitter/Mechanic to join our team on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repair of bulkers and trailers.
• Upkeep and repairs of our wash plant equipment.
• Ensure equipment runs smoothly and downtime is minimized.
• Flexibility to work fewer hours on quieter days, as needed.

Position Details:

• Temporary position with potential to work full-time (Monday to Friday) until Christmas 2024.
• Flexibility is essential, as we may not require services on some quieter days.
• We are looking for someone reliable and skilled, with the possibility of a longer-term position for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fitter/Mechanic, particularly with trailer and plant equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Flexibility in working hours based on business needs.
