Description

• Lead and manage a team of operators, promoting a positive and productive work environment
• Manage work-flow, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure the efficient operation of the department
• Oversee production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace for all colleagues
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Support the ongoing training and development of your team to build their skills and knowledge
• Drive team performance to meet production targets and deliver exceptional results
• Ensure all operations align with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Profile

• Proven experience leading a production team, preferably within a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing a team of around 15-20 colleagues with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop people.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and the ability to enforce these effectively.
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement processes and Quality Assurance practices is highly desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills with a focus on prioritising and managing multiple responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
