York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity are looking for an experienced Events Fundraiser to deliver the charity's events programme.

This is an exciting time to join a growing charity team and there will be the opportunity to identify and develop new events for the charity as part of the role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, managing and supporting participants for challenge events. They will also plan and deliver a range of other events for the charity including an online auction, stewardship events for supporters and opening events for charitably funded projects across the Trust.

With event management experience, either in a charity setting or a comparable role, the successful candidate will be highly organised, used to multi-tasking and meeting deadlines. They must be willing and able to work flexibly, with travel between hospital sites and some out of hours work for events.

Location

This role is primarily office based, at either York Hospital or Scarborough Hospital, with some home working. The role will include travel across the community and trust sites.
