Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment, process pumps, etc. Should also have good general skills including lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, machining, piping, sheet metal, etc. Must be willing to work flexible hours. Candidates should also have a strong work ethic, possess a safe work history and function effectively in a self-directed team environment.
In this role, you will:
- Ability to perform routine service, setup, adjustment and repairs of paper manufacturing and converting equipment (e.g. pumps, gear reducers, high speed winders, orbital saws, wrappers, packaging and conveying equipment)
- Perform Predictive & Preventative tasks associated on heavy industrial manufacturing equipment
- Identify and correct defects in equipment during preventative maintenance inspections
- Installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of typical ball & roller bearings
- Perform horizontal laser equipment alignment tasks
- Perform basic pipe fitting and welding
- Proficient in rigging/lifting fundamentals required for large equipment replacements
- Proficient at using hand tools, portable electric tools & maintenance shop equipment
- Basic machinist tasks (e.g. cut and broach keyways on drive line components, minor parts modifications, etc.)
- Precision measurements of bearing fits and mounting tolerances.
- Work within an operations driven team environment to resolve issues and improve performance

In one of our maintenance roles, you'll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Journeyman level skills supported by successful completion of a certified mechanical training program or apprenticeship in a relevant discipline (machinist, certified welder, etc.) minimum 2 year training requirement AND a minimum of 3 years mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting OR 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial setting
- Proven safety record that demonstrates solid performance
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks, work at heights and within confined spaces
- Must understand preventive/predictive/proactive maintenance concepts
- Strong communication and leadership skills, including self-motivation
- Can maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening.
- Papermaking Experience
- Training in LEAN tools and concepts
- Experience with high-speed manufacturing and converting equipment
- Basic computer skills in SAP, Microsoft Word, Outlook and other Windows applications

The anticipated pay range for this job has a range of $40.81 in addition to bonus potential. Individual pay levels will be based on multiple factors including, but are not limited to, location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
