Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) Engineer with a Secret Clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Huntsville, AL. The Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) Engineer will provide technical, programmatic and analytical support to the PEO AVN Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in the area of tactical network interoperability. Serves as the PEO staff point of contact for all matters pertaining to tactical information exchange. Assists the project offices in their conduct of Army Interoperability Certification (AIC), migration of joint and Army messaging standards, submission of standards waivers to higher headquarters, coordination of warfighter interoperability requirements and other issues as required. Works closely with the interoperability action officer within the Aviation Mission Systems and Architecture (AMSA) Project Office. AMSA is the PEO's project office responsible for providing information exchange capability across the aviation fleet. Specific requirements include, but are not limited to: Serve as co-lead for the Aviation - Army Interoperability Certification (A-AIC) IPT along with the AMSA PMO interoperability action officer Support interoperability forums including but not limited to: Army Interoperability Requirements Working Group (AIRWG) Enable Agile AIC IPT Mounted Mission Command (MMC) Protobuf follow-on IPT Data Management & Interoperability Group (DMIG) Command Post Computing Environment (CP CE) Convergence IPT CP CE Aviation Convergence IPT Combat Aviation Brigade 2030 (CAB 2030) Working Group Serve as liaison for tactical interoperability matters with ASA(ALT), the HQDA OCIO/G6 and other higher Army staff elements Generate, route and respond to taskers, both internal and external, concerning tactical interoperability Prepare and present documentation as needed in support of OCIO and PEO decisions concerning tactical interoperability Serve on the Army Acquisition Modernization Cyber Assessment Team (AAMCAT) Assist in assessing cyber vulnerabilities related to the interoperability of tactical systems. Experience: Five plus years desired in the foregoing areas. Education: Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science or communications. Security Clearance: Secret clearance required. Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
