Job Description PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work on a team of engineers to support requirements development, system design, allocation of requirements to subsystems, subsystem development, system testing and integration of complex hardware and software designs, system delivery and on-site integration, and post-delivery support
Responsibilities include requirement documentation, preliminary and critical design, integration and testing of complex hardware and software designs
Develop, document, and recommend solutions or improvements for technical engineering problems
Support the integration of hardware and software into a ground based radar
Periodic travel to test locations will be required Requirements MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and five (5) years' of work related experience or a Master's degree in Engineering and three (3) years' of work related experience or a Ph.D. in a relevant, technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Requires the application of complex, technical, professional disciplines requiring a four-year degree or equivalent and the extensive, applied use of related concepts, practices and methods
Requires a senior level of proficiency to apply significant job related experience
Experience with FPGA implementations utilizing VHDL is required
May assist others as a lead practitionerDESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) experience and experience using XILINX as a development platform
RF engineering
