Responsibilities PeopleTec is currently seeking a Flight Test Engineer to support our Redstone Arsenal, AL location. This position is to provide test engineer support to the Redstone Test Center RAPID Program. The RAPID Program is the development of a digital engineering environment to modernize the US Army Test Process. The successful candidate will: Provide Test Engineering Center supporting the development of the RAPID Program and its integration and testing across the RTC Enterprise Assist with stakeholder engagement planning and execution Analyze stakeholder Test processes to propose solutions that create efficiencies, reduce costs, and ultimately reduce the amount of time it takes to complete the various test processes Translate stakeholders needs and proposed solutions into user stories that detail RAPID Services into appropriate detail for agile software development Define all data elements and attributes for stakeholder test processes Develop RAPID System requirements and their allocation to services using MBSE models Assist task leadership in identifying program risks, issues, and opportunities related to cost, schedule, and technical performance; and ensuring that effective mitigation strategies are developed Coordinate the review, adjudication, and staffing of technical and programmatic documentation as related to the MBSE diagrams that you create Provide status of efforts to program leadership as required Qualifications Required Skills/Experience: Developmental and/or operational flight-testing experience (Army aircraft preferred) Experience and knowledge of aircraft ground and flight test planning, resourcing, and execution Experience with airworthiness requirements, integration and system level qualification for aircraft systems and subsystems Ability to work effectively with others and manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to plan, organize, and direct the work of teams consisting of multiple stakeholders to conduct comprehensive verification efforts and successfully execute problem resolution when required. Strong oral and written communication skills Travel: Less than 10% Must be a U.S. Citizen An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science, preferably in Engineering Desired Skills: Knowledge of and experience with the development, airworthiness qualification, integration, system level qualification, reliability and maintainability, fielding, and sustainment of engines, engine subsystems, or LRUs for Army aircraft Experience with MBSE tools such as Magic Draw or Cameo Enterprise Architecture Overview People First.
