Willbrook Solutions, an SAS company, is looking for Engineers, Scientists, Intell Analysts, and Linguists to support an upcoming effort in support of the Defense Intelligence Agency Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC). The candidate will work as part of a multi-discipline team to support the analysis, evaluation, assessment, and documentation of intelligence information on current and future foreign defensive systems, including the subsystems, components, and technologies. The systems may include Radars, Missiles, Launchers, and Command and Control (C2). The effort will include the hardware and software reverse engineering and exploitation of defensive systems foreign materiel. The effort will also include the development of digital models, simulations, and hardware representations of defensive systems and computer-based analytical tools needed to assess foreign defensive system capabilities and vulnerabilities. RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
Support the all-source intelligence analysis and reverse engineering of foreign defensive weapon systems and subsystems
Support the overall system performance analysis and characterization of each subsystem and components to include performance quantification such as radar/seeker/fuze detection, radar resolutions and track accuracies, missile effective ranges, missile velocity/acceleration and time-of-flight curves, and assessments of integrated system performance
Support the hardware and software engineering (HW/SW) reverse engineering of Radars, Missiles, Launchers, and C2 Systems, and their subsystems and components
Assess the theory of operation, characteristics and performance, physical characteristics, signatures, vulnerabilities and employment of defensive systems
Develop computer software models for various systems, subsystems, and components of defensive systems
Develop videos to depict the concept of operations, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and operator functions and procedures
Document results of the performance analysis and subsystem/component characterization in technical reports and briefings to DIA/MSIC Leadership REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Must be U.S. citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET or higher-level clearance up to Top Secret with a CI-Poly. Candidates with an active Final SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance are desired, but candidates without but able to obtain and maintain a SECRET or higher-level clearance will be evaluated and considered
BS, MS, or PhD in Engineering from an ABET-accredited Program - or - equivalent DoD experience (Candidates from all levels of education and experience will be evaluated, ranging from recent graduates to subject matter experts (SMEs) in specific technical areas)
Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-discipline team
Ability to manage and support multiple various tasks simultaneously
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to brief Senior DIA/MSIC officials on task status and analysis findings PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of and experience working with Radars, missiles and missile sensors, and various weapon support equipment such as missile launchers, C4 vehicles, and navigational support
Experience developing and/or utilizing RF signature modeling and analysis processes, methodology, and tools
Familiarity with advanced RF concepts, techniques, and algorithms and RADAR design and utilization in missile defense system architecture
Familiarity with electro optical/infrared/ultraviolet (EO/IR/UV) sensors, laser range finders, Kinetic Kill Vehicles, and DEWs
Experience performing HW and/or SW reverse engineering of foreign weapon systems and their subsystems and components. Experience working with FPGAs and their technologies is highly desired
Experience developing computer software models for various systems, subsystems, and components of defensive systems
Experience using C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, Python/Anaconda, or similar programming languages for analytical Modeling & Simulation (M&S) SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET or higher-level clearance
