Job description

BlueHalo is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist with extensive experience in Department of Defense (DoD) information technology and cybersecurity practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Authorization & Accreditation (A&A) package management, and familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and procedures while working collaboratively with various teams to tackle high-priority tasks. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate the A&A process for various IT systems. Conduct risk assessments and implement the RMF to ensure compliance with federal standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address cybersecurity challenges. Utilize security tools to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities. Provide guidance and expertise on cybersecurity best practices. Required Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience DoDI 8570 IAM Level I certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CAP, CND) and DISA eMASS Certification 5+ years in DoD information technology and cybersecurity practices 3+ years managing Authorization & Accreditation (A&A) packages 1+ year in the complete Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle 1+ year in Army cybersecurity processes and procedures 1+ year working with eMASS solutions Familiarity with cybersecurity policies and procedures (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, 800-37) Experience applying problem-solving techniques to complex government cybersecurity challenges, both independently and in team settings 1+ year using security vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., ACAS, STIG Viewer, SCAP) Active Secret Clearance Preferred: CISSP certification and understanding of Foreign Military Sales cybersecurity requirements are a plus
