Torch Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Junior to Mid-level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This role presents a unique opportunity to collaborate with technical experts and leaders from various MDA components at the Von Braun Complex. The ideal candidate will be a growth-oriented professional with a strong drive to innovate and enhance operational efficiencies through organized and automated solutions across multiple domains. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions that support MDA initiatives. Focus on Configuration Management and ensure adherence to rigorous documentation standards. Provide critical input and insights to Senior Leaders within the MDA to enhance operational efficiencies. Develop, test, and maintain software applications using various programming languages. Assist in the development of Plug-Ins and end-user interfaces (HMI/API development). Utilize UML and/or SysML in software design and documentation. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of relevant experience in software engineering. Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, C++, and Python. Experience with Power BI and IBM Jazz. Knowledge and experience in building Plug-Ins and developing end-user interfaces. Familiarity with UML and/or SysML for software design. Must possess a Secret Security Clearance. All work is conducted on-site at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
