Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Contracts Manager 3 to join its talented team supporting Advanced Programs in the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division. The Advanced Programs portfolio works on the cutting edge of new designs and technologies. This position offers a unique opportunity to exercise contracting expertise beyond standard FAR/DFARs, with a portfolio heavy in , governed by the United States Code. The preferred location is Huntsville, AL, though Roy, UT will also be considered. The position will report to the Division Director of Contracts and Property. Due to the nature of the portfolio, a Secret clearance is required to start. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Shaping acquisitions and attending Industry Days. Reviewing RFIs, RFPs and agreements; leading direct reports through detailed risk analysis; communicating risk analysis results and recommendations to the Program team and Division leadership. Working closely with the Law Department and Intellectual Property Law Department on non-standard contracting terms. Preparing and negotiating proposals. Dealing effectively with competing priorities and deadlines and handling multiple tasks. Developing customer relationships and ensuring delivery on commitments. Building/leading a high performing team; training and mentoring direct reports of various levels.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with 8+years relevant experience in contract administration/management or related field -OR- Masters's degree with 6+ years relevant experience in contract administration/management or related field. Minimum of 3 years in a formal lead/ management position Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance Experience with FAR/DFARs acquisitions as well as Other Transaction Authority (OTAs). Experience negotiating and administering various contract types of varying sizes and types of agreements. Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications: Current, active Top Secret security clearance. Proficiency in Other Transaction Authority (OTA), Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA). Experience with the National Laboratories. 15 years' experience in government contracting. Experience leading a graphically diverse team.

Salary Range: $129,000 - $213,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
