Job description

Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is currently seeking to hire a candidate to conduct force-on-force Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) in support of Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) analyses. Analytic results will inform critical programmatic decisions to multiple DoD-level organizations through the application of MS&A tools and processes. The candidate will work onsite with the customer within the US Army Space and Missile Defense Center of Excellence (SMD CoE) and become a valued employee-owner in our dynamic and employee-centric culture. Specific tasks to support impactful MS&A efforts include study planning, scenario development, IAMD system modeling, scenario testing, output data analysis, results report development, and development of MS&A models and tools. DoD Operations Research/Systems Analysis (ORSA) or operational IAMD background is preferred but not required. Specific M&S tools operated may include: AFSIM, EADSIM, Python, C++, TGx, HELCOMES, or C2BMC planner. Expertise with one or more of these tools is strongly desired, however relevant experience with similar M&S tools will be considered such as: MATLAB, WILMA, STK, STORM, SEAS, HELEEOS, or GIANT. Job Requirements Must have a minimum of 12 years' relevant experience and a Bachelors' degree, preferably in a technical field; additional experience may be considered in lieu of specific degree.
