Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for supporting the sales and recruitment team sourcing and screening physicians by telephone and generating viable candidate leads for D&Y locum assignment opportunities to pass to Staffing Consultants on the assigned recruiting team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attach a variety of required documents in CRM (Axess) such as CV's, THQ's, Licenses (ACLS, ATLS, etc.) among others.
- Download items needed for presentation from varying websites for commercial (license verification, DEA verification, board certified verification, etc.)
- Assist in obtaining and verifying DEA certification via DEA Lookup website.
- Reworking CVs as needed (chronological order in month/year, groups worked for, etc.) for presentation and credentialing purposes.
- Posting jobs on available web-based job board resources. Sourcing from web-based Physician/APC databases, download CV's to Axess, create/update provider record in Axess, outbound qualification calls.
- Create textus lists for Staffing Consultants
- Send textus messages for Staffing Consultants who exceed 500/day upon request.
- Follow up on missing provider work logs
- Coordinate in conjunction with the Credentialing team the collection of credentials items necessary to move the provider through the credentialing process.
- Booking jobs in Axess.
- Update provider record in Axess including missing licenses, contact information, etc.
- Cross train in other departmental areas for backup and support, as needed.
- Provide support to sales team with regards to project execution and day to day operations
- Performs other projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent with one or more years of college desired.
- Experience in making a high volume of outbound calls and documenting call results in a database system; one or more years of technical sourcing experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting team with an emphasis (core competency) within healthcare Locum Tenens positions.
- Must possess excellent and confident verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment performing multiple tasks.
- Must be able to work independently without close supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and analytical skills.
- Ability to adapt to and implement change.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a consistent manner.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new software applications.
PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Job is performed in a well-lighted, climate controlled modern office setting.
- Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
- Prolonged sitting.
- Prolonged and extensive work on a computer/PC.
- Moderate telephone use.
- Moderate level of stress
- Occasional travel (negligible).
- This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
