Job Description: Parsons is looking for a talented and experienced Sr. Defensive Systems Modeling and Simulation Lead to join our team! In this role you will lead a team performing modeling and simulation associated with defensive weapon systems. What You'll Be Doing: Working closely with the customer to understand and deliver quality products that accomplish their mission
Coordinating multiple tasks, staff and subcontractors performing analysis
Understanding engineering designs supplied by the customer and leading teams of staff and/or subcontractors to develop software models that represent the systems at the fidelity necessary to meet customer goals.
Oversee the evolution of the technical baseline and plan transition steps that add emerging capabilities while maintaining existing products.
Use modeling and simulation tools to answer intelligence questions Clearance Required: Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess an ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance What Required Skills You'll Bring: BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar discipline, and 10+ years of experience
Deep technical experience with Radar, Directed Energy Weapons, Surface to Air Missile Systems, and/or Anti-Satellite weapons
Experience developing software in C++ and MATLAB Simulink and leading software teams
Experience with modeling and simulation of weapons systems
Experience developing software models of Radar, interceptor and sensor subsystems
Ability to mentor and provide task leadership What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Prior leadership experience over teams of teams
Experience with Agile software development
