BlueHalo is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead Missile Defense System (MDS) architecture design and trade space analysis. In this critical role, the selected candidate will define and evaluate MDS trade capability space, architectural performance metrics, and other high-level performance indicators. Key Responsibilities: Scope, execute, and document results of MDS architecture trade studies within the MDA Architecture Trades Group. Possess a deep understanding of C2BMC, and its integration within Command and Control networks. Apply expertise in Electronic Attack (EA) and Electronic Protection (EP) to relevant studies and analyses. Support the creation of Initial Requirements Documents, Architecture Requirements Packages, and systems engineering artifacts for the MDS. Develop alternative architecture concepts that address projected capability gaps, threats, and intelligence estimates. Collaborate with the MDA/CA M&S Working Group, providing briefings on trade study efforts and offering feedback on work products from other members. Engage with key organizations like FFDRCs, UARCs, National Labs, and Service Labs to apply MDS-level and Element-level M&S tools for assessing performance trade space. Assist the Architecture Trade Studies Division Chief in defining methodologies, measures, and deliverables for trade studies. Coordinate with the Architecture Design Directorate (MDA/CAD) and external stakeholders on trade study activities and work products. This role is 100% onsite at Redstone Arsenal. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field. 12+ years of relevant experience in Missile Defense System architecture and trade studies. Active Secret Clearance. Expertise in Electronic Attack (EA) and Electronic Protection (EP). In-depth knowledge of MDS, including Command and Control networks, specifically C2BMC and LINK 16. Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance. Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of hypersonic weapons and their capabilities. Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, with a strong focus on PowerPoint.
