Responsibilities PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software Assurance Engineer (SwA) to support our Huntsville, AL location. PeopleTec is seeking Junior, Mid-Level and Senior Level candidates with Software Assurance (SwA) experience. This position includes technical engineering support and research in the area of SwA to include the analysis of software source code and binary executable files. The candidate will perform software scanning and analysis using automated analysis tools such as Fortify, Coverity, and Black Duck and manual techniques to identify coding flaws, exploitable vulnerabilities, and malicious indicators in software applications. The candidate will provide detailed reports of identified issues and work with program office and software development personnel to analyze and mitigate identified issues. Additionally, the candidate will conduct research on emerging software assurance tools and provide detailed reports on tool capabilities and applicability to the client's software assurance requirements. Potential candidates that have experience in cryptoanalysis, including knowledge of Quantum-Resistance encryption algorithms and the principles behind the CNSA 2.0 standards and/or binary analysis techniques and reverse engineering, particularly with Ghidra are invited to apply. Qualifications Required Skills/Experience : Software Development experience (Jr, Mid, and Sr level experience) Experience using software scanning tools such as Fortify, Black Duck, Coverity etc. Understanding of DISA STIG (AppDevSTIGs) and RMF Compliance for software applications Travel: 10 % Must be a U.S. Citizen An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment. Education Requirements : BS Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 2-15 years experience Desired Skills : Cryptoanalysis and knowledge of Quantum-Resistance encryption algorithms Binary analysis techniques and reverse engineering, particularly with Ghidra CNSA 2.0 Standards Overview People First.
