Login Now -LB: Sr. Contracts Manager - Huntsville, AL LocationAL, Huntsville ScheduleFull Time Salary Range- Davidson Technologies is seeking a Sr. Contracts Manager for Huntsville, AL. Analyzing and interpreting Federal Government regulations including FAR and DFAR while ensuring compliance with DCAA. Cradle to grave contracts management of Cost Reimbursable, Fixed Price and T&M type contracts; to include Direct Procurement Serve as trusted advisor to CFO; provide guidance concerning contractual terms and conditions, legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulations. Relationship Management (Internal and External Customers and Suppliers). Advise Program Management team of their rights and obligations under the contract terms. Review contract terms and conditions for completeness and consistency with corporate policies and standards Negotiates proposals, contract modifications, and agreements as required within the limits of authority delegated by the upper management. Lead in contract closeout/exit activities. Provides Business Context Training to other Functions. Leads/participates in improvement projects and initiatives. Requirements:
Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in a business-related field, with a Masters degree preferred, and 10 years of experience managing Federal Government contracts including proposal preparation, contract negotiations and overall administration of assigned government contracts. Contract Management experience required with all contract types, working expertise with Federal Acquisition Regulation, and agency supplements. Experience with Government contracting issues such as conflict of interest, request for equitable adjustment, funding realignment and security in government contracting. Strong contract drafting and negotiation experience. Ability to understand the financial aspects of contracts and other business arrangements. Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS. Working knowledge of GSA schedules and GSA functions. Advanced proficiency in software programs such as: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Deltek CostPoint Ability to contribute to negotiation strategy and lead negotiations. Clearance:
Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
