Job description

CORE RESPONSIBLITIES
Gather user network requirements utilizing multiple methodologies to provide necessary technical documentation, system requirements documents, systems security requirements documents, and system test plan.
Install, maintain and evaluate network systems and communications systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues involving various protocols, topologies, networking hardware, etc.
Conduct network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies.
Utilize extensive knowledge of internetworking, computer systems, routers, switches, firewalls, and peripherals to enhance understanding of current network designs and to collaborate with other team members to develop new network designs.
Apply technical and business experience and understanding to improve processes and procedures for deploying and maintaining network infrastructure.
Work independently and collectively to help improve network solutions and contribute to network service improvements. Top Skills' Details
6+ years of relevant IT experience with specialization in networking technologies, specifically with Cisco switches and routers and analyzing ENTERPRISE networks.
2. SD-WAN experience at the enterprise level. (6+ years)
3. Experience engineering routing protocols such as: BGP, OSPF, or EIGRP are MUST have qualifications to interview.
4. CURRENT FINAL TOP SECRET (TS) SECURITY CLEARANCE (SCI ELIGIBLE) AND WILLING TO TAKE A COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) POLYGRAPH Additional Skills & Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
Active Top Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI
Minimum of six (6) years of experience designing, developing, and implementing network solutions
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting complex Local Area Networking (LAN) issues and resolving Wide Area Networking (WAN) problems and supporting of cost-effective, high-performance IP and LAN/WAN solutions.
Extensive experience with Cisco routing platforms, such as Aggregation Services Routers (ASRs)
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of routing protocols and technologies including BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, GRE
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Layer 2 technologies including STP, MST, VLANS
Experience providing Tier 3 support and issue resolution
Experience with network design and traffic engineering
Experience providing senior-level engineering support
Large enterprise environment experience
