Marathon TS is looking for multiple Traveling Technicians who are based in the Huntsville, AL area to support a high profile government customer. This role require 50% travel within the continental US and a Top Secret government clearance. Job Description: A successful Field Service Technician candidate can adapt to a variety of work environments and quickly solve problems. Their main responsibility is to provide excellent customer service while maintaining equipment, with specific Field Service Technician job duties. Responsibilities: Rack / stack of network, servers and IT equipment Troubleshoot hardware components as needed Perform carrier coordination and escorting within the space Document and update tickets of incidents and work Complete a daily check list, including environmental observations and reporting Experience with carrier coordination and escorting within the space Experience with day-to-day moves adds and changes that take place in a data center Strong troubleshooting experience with hardware components Hands-on copper / fiber cabling installation and connectivity skills Has performed racking / stacking of network, servers and IT equipment Familiar with daily check list, including environmental observations and reporting Marathon TS is committed to the development of a creative, diverse and inclusive work environment.
