Web Systems Administrator Full Time Montgomery, AL Secret clearance This position is contingent upon contract award Overview: The AFINC III contract supporting the 26th Network Operations Squadron (26NOS) is searching for qualified candidates for the position of a Web Administrator I or II (depending upon experience). Responsibilities: Work within data center operations for Windows 20019/2016/2012 Servers and Windows 10 OS to include application patching, software version upgrades, network and firewall troubleshooting. Customize IIS (Internet Information Server) or Apache web pages to develop web-based UIs to administer and manage hosted software applications and/or dashboards such as 26NOS web sites, NetQoS, Cacti, SolarWinds, etc. Aid in identifying technical environment issues and recommending solutions to mitigate impacts. Perform analytical, technical and administrative work in the setup, sustainment, and problem determination for Web application system infrastructure to ensure uptime & future growth. Evaluate web performance issues, functionality and requests for local and remote data centers. Proactively monitor web service environments; Assist/recommend system/service policies. Install secure socket layer (SSL), request/apply DoD issued web or application certificates. Configure certificate authentication on web servers and databases using Advanced Security to sustain valid system certificates, web application certificates and/or two-factor authentication (2FA) within a smart card Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environment. Aide in effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, certificate management and maintenance of enterprise-wide web related production and disaster recovery (DR) sites Provide a periodic report of system status to include uptime, incident and problems, open issues. Respond to system faults, analyzing and correcting applications or errors to reestablish service. Ability to utilize DotNet Framework C#, InfoPath and Microsoft Visual Studio Assist in maintenance of security processes, compliance and procedures to ensure site security. Audit, remediate, and maintain DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checklist documentation on supported systems utilizing technical procedures, best practices, hardening guidance, vendor manuals, user guides and runbooks. Ability or experience in evaluating scan report data from ACAS Tenable.SC or Tenable Nessus Scanners; participate in the review and response phases of the Vulnerability Management (VM) life cycle. Support provisional installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of server systems hardware (Dell PowerEdge, HPe ProLiant, etc.), and utilize related infrastructure devices such as KVMs, out-of-band management (OOBM) tools like integrated lights-out (ILO), iLO Amplifier, integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) or Open Managed Enterprise (OME) appliances. Develop and/or implement technical solutions based on defined mission scope and using approved software tools such as PuTTY, SecureCRT, Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), NotePad , etc. Aptitude to test or interact with existing or new software technologies in production environment with 3rd party monitoring tools to track overall health and availability of apps: Splunk Enterprise, SolarWinds Orion platform, NAGIOS, McAfee Endpoint Security Systems (ESS), Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), WSUS, ForeScout CounterACT, NAGIOS, Veritas NetBackup, etc. Review, prepare and ensure networks receive periodic updates from AFCYBER-released software patches, updates, and upgrades via Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO), Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNO), Maintenance Tasking Order (MTO) and Notices to Airman (NOTAMs) Assist AF Cyber personnel with Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) programs, cybersecurity toolsets, and Operation Order (OPORD)/Fragmentary Order (FRAGO) support. Create and maintain knowledge management documentation such as continuity books, Trouble Tickets, and SOP guides for day-to-day operations. Support day-to-day technical communication systems, alerts and incident tickets queue in support of operations; Open/track change requests and interact with external customers or vendors. Interact well with all levels of management across multiple teams consisting of Government civilians, contractors, and military personnel. Qualifications/Requirements: Experience within DoD environment or enterprise data centers. Experience with supporting web servers preferably VMware infrastructure, and/or backups. Must have a minimum of 2+ years of experience with web-client technologies. Prefer a minimum of 1-3 years of experience with Windows server environment. Aptitude to develop desktop and/or server Windows Automation Processes with PowerShell to improve or enhance day-to-day operations to create team efficiencies & reduce manual processes. In-depth experience interacting with Microsoft SQL database stored procedures, and desktop applications. Knowledge of network protocols and technologies: DHCP, ICMP, LDAPS, NetFlow, SCP, SMTP, SNMP, Syslog, TCP/IP, VLANs, WMI Exposure to load balancing traffic management technologies; virtualized environments such as VMware vSphere's vCenter Server Appliance (vCSA), ESXi hosts, virtual machines (VMs), VMTools, Horizon View, and/or VM/Host distributed resource schedules (DRS) groups/rules. Experience with networking, desktops / laptops, middleware, client/server software, Office products, server operating systems, virtualization, managing data, applications, websites, or database supporting a multi-site, multi-domain Windows forest. Familiarity of advanced CSS/CSS3, HTML/HTML5 and browser performance optimizations Able to work autonomously and as part of a team, sharing knowledge to help others in a fast-paced cyber environment. Possess refined critical thinking skills and thrive in fast-paced multi-task environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to follow policies and procedures. Approach work tasks as diplomatic, adaptive to a dynamic environment, dependable and reliable. Aptitude to address negative situations and resolve them in a positive manner. Experience maintaining, overseeing and troubleshooting computers and related peripheral equipment performing preventative maintenance in accordance with department policies. Ability to lift, rack and provision government furnished equipment (GFE) Education/Certification(s): Technical degree, Associates or, bachelor's degree in computer science/information systems, Science/Engineering/Math or 2-4 years' relevant experience in Information Technology preferably within system administration is acceptable There are two required certifications for this position, that must be held prior to starting on the contract. Requires one of the following DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification to begin on contract: CompTIA Security+ CE (Continuing Education) CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) CE (Continuing Education) (ISC) Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) (ISC) Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) Requires the following Computing Environment/Operating System (CE/OS) to begin on contract: Junior: Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate Mid: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Senior: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or Configuring Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services Clearance: Active DoD Secret required or ability to complete investigation process for interim with potential to upgrade to Top Secret clearance preferred.
