We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team in Alabama. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals of all ages overcome speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. As an integral member of our team, the SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders in both pediatric and adult populations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
  3. Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing function.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, educators, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care and optimal treatment outcomes.
  5. Educate clients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies and techniques to support ongoing progress and success.
  6. Document client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  7. Stay current with advances in speech-language pathology research, techniques, and technologies through continuing education and professional development activities.
  8. Adhere to ethical and professional standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensing boards.

Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  2. Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Alabama.
  3. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  4. Previous experience working with diverse populations, including pediatric and adult clients, preferred.
  5. Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
  8. Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapy interventions.
