Insurance Defense Attorney

Position Overview: The Insurance Defense Attorney will handle a variety of insurance defense cases, including personal injury, property damage, and coverage disputes. The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense, and a proven ability to manage cases from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Represent clients in all phases of litigation, from pleadings to trial and appeal.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and trial briefs.
  • Conduct depositions, witness preparation, and other discovery activities.
  • Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, adjusters, and other parties involved in the litigation process.

Qualifications:


  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Alabama
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.

  • Strong litigation skills and familiarity with insurance laws and defense strategies.
  • Exceptional research, writing, and communication abilities.
