SES Construction and Fuel Services LLC (SCF) is growing! We are seeking a talented Quality Control Manager/Site Safety & Health Officer to join our dynamic team, a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH). This position is located at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Anchorage, AK. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and in compliance with safety regulations. • Effectively communicate with clients and occupants to address any project-related issues promptly. • Conduct regular safety inspections and meetings to manage occupational health and safety effectively. • Update project documentation using RMS and Procore as needed to maintain accurate records. • Perform daily quality control inspections, documenting and tracking any deficiencies for resolution. • Manage government and DOR RFIs, ensuring timely responses and proper follow-up. • Provide safety site orientations and activity-specific training for project personnel. • Actively participate in pre-construction conferences and the three-phase inspection process. • Enforce Accident Prevention Plans and subcontractor Activity Hazard Analysis for a safe work environment. • Monitor subcontractor safety compliance, verify qualifications, and conduct inspections regularly. • Investigate incidents, complete necessary reports, and track safety deficiencies until resolved. • Keep accurate safety logs and reports in RMS and Procore, including OSHA Form 300 and Daily Production reports. • Maintain safety reference materials and hazardous chemical lists on-site for quick access. Qualifications: • USACE CQM Certification • OSHA 30 training • Certification in 1st Aid/AED/CPR • A minimum of 5 years of experience in projects of similar size and complexity is essential. Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Working Conditions: Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife.
