Job Description Associate Network Administrator - Days - 4x10s Transform technology into opportunity as an Associate Network Administrator with GDIT. Our work depends on Network Administrator joining our team to support the Global Enterprise Fabric system. HOW A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Analyzes, administers and maintains voice, video, and/or data communications networks.
Manages the usage and performance of voice, video and/or data communications networks.
Maintains network security and ensures compliance with security policies and procedures through STIGs, IAVMs,
Participates in aspects of major network installations and upgrades.
Interfaces with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.
Troubleshoots and resolves simple/associate/intermediate level problems.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned.
Manages the network components of a global information system.
Patches/upgrades firmware/changes components and maintains the network
Configures Switches, Routers, Firewalls and crypto devices.
Helps with configurations and managing of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
Participates in special projects as required. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree - Bachelors Degree preferred, but not required • Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (CCNA Security Training, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) to start: Computing Environment certification such as CCT, CCNA or similar technology within 6 months of hire • Required Experience: 1-5 years of related experience in IT field, preferred Networking
• Required Technical Skills: Switches, Network
• Security Clearance Level: Interim Secret to start
• Required Skills and Abilities: Communication, problem solving, etc

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
