Job description
Duties Provide technical and administrative supervision to a group of employees involved in all course training development and implementation issues. Present and supervise presentation of education/training on assigned topics. Conducts After Action Reviews of learning activities, lessons, modules, and course. Evaluate student academic performance and provides performance counseling and reports. Create student performance remediation plans and provide remediation to overcome student performance deficiencies. Prepare recommendations for student relief or recycle. Evaluate and coach instructors within the course. Responsible for student academic record maintenance, safekeeping of classified or sensitive information, and course test control procedures. Develop and maintain course material. Design, develop or assist in the development of an individual education/training course/lesson. Create, revise and edit training materials to ensure effective and efficient learning. Enter, revise and edit training materials in Training Development Capability (TDC). Prepare and maintain course supporting documentation. Collect and analyze data in support of the validation of education/training materials. Verify technical operability of education/training products. Assist as a subject matter expert in conducting educational/training studies. Use Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) and brigade analysis tools to identify and advocate for resources (personnel, equipment and facilities) required to accomplish the mission. Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI). Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis. May be required to adjust tour of duty to work occasional shift work, nights and weekends based on course schedule and organization requirements. Two year trial/probationary period may be required. Specialized experience is defined as one year or more of experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of position as demonstrated by: 1.) conducting formal training and instruction on All Source intelligence analysis that includes development and/or adjustment of course materials; and, 2.) applying the principles, concepts, policies, practices and methods of all-source intelligence collection, analysis, processing and dissemination as demonstrated by performing any combination of the following functions: develops the threat situation and fuses, produces, and disseminates all-source intelligence products to support Mission Command; prepare periodic and special intelligence reports, plans, and briefings; perform, coordinate, and/or direct the Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB); plan requirements, assess collection, and provide and coordinate intelligence support to targeting by developing the high value target (HVT) list - creating the target intelligence package (TIP); perform combat assessments and determine second and third order effects of enemy actions; and coordinate the flow of intelligence information between intelligence disciplines and manage intelligence operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (GG/GS-11).
