Envocore LLC, offers amazing job opportunities to both entry-level and skilled candidates. Currently, we are looking to hire a building envelope technician to perform upgrades for our federal, municipal and educational partners nationwide.

Job Summary:

Building Envelope technicians perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work related to maintenance, carpentry, caulking, spray-foam, foam board, fiberglass insulation and window shade installations.

Essential Duties:

  • Primary tasks include using a tape measure to measure door frames, cutting weather stripping to length using a miter saw, using drills and various types and sizes of drill bits, measuring and cutting Styrofoam board with a utility knife, installing fiberglass insulation, using spray foam, and window caulking.
  • Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks involving the use of different hand tools, power tools and maintenance equipment used to measure, cut, drill, mount and caulk various Building Envelope materials.
  • Assists with loading and unloading of trucks and staging material when needed; and
  • Works on elevated platforms when needed including ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts and other mechanized equipment.
  • Complies with and maintains the company's personnel hand tool requirements.
  • Maintains tools and maintenance equipment to ensure proper working order.

  • Organized/ Team Player/ Strong Work Ethic/ Punctual
  • Critical thinking skills/ mechanically inclined/ handy/ able to fix things/ intuitively understand how things work.
  • Safety oriented/ proper PPE use
  • Patient, observant, good dexterity, able to see the whole picture or identify what is missing.
  • Use of hand tools and power tools.
  • 1-2 years of construction experience

Education/ Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

Moderate computer/ tablet/ phone skills

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Valid driver's license
  • OSHA 10 (optional)

Work Days: Monday - Thursday

Work Hours: 3:00PM-1:30AM
