Position Overview: Are you passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of members through direct therapy? At Lexington Therapies, we're seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in-person. Whether you're looking for a part-time or full-time role, you'll have the opportunity to focus on providing hands-on therapy sessions that make a real impact.
In this role, you'll be integral to delivering individualized therapy plans, working directly with members to support their development and help them achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities:
Direct Therapy Sessions:
Provide neuro-affirming therapy for members based on individualized treatment plans developed by Occupational Therapists.
Implement therapeutic activities to support members' sensory-motor development and progress.
Monitor and document members' progress, adjusting therapy as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
Engage with members in a way that respects and supports their unique neurological profiles.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with Supervising Occupational Therapists, families, and other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to therapy.
Educate and guide members, parents, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to continue progress at home.
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and client progress using electronic platforms.

Requirements:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the State of Arizona, in good standing.
A passion for working with members and a commitment to delivering high-quality neuro-affirming therapy.
Exceptional clinical writing and verbal communication skills.
Creativity and flexibility in therapeutic approaches.
