What You'll Do: As a Commercial Training Consultant, you will analyze and determine training needs for our field force in our 8-state footprint. You will also:

  • Coordinate all phases of the curriculum development, including general commercial knowledge and DXC systems. Work with commercial personnel to identify specific areas where training is needed and analyze, design, and develop training programs.
  • Administer and execute regional agent training programs including new and veteran agent training programs for agents assigned to both rural and metro markets. Monitor agent's progress toward completing assigned commercial training programs.
  • Utilize company sales process and training materials with all new Agents. Facilitate new Sales Associate training, CRM training, and other regional commercial training as needed.
  • Partner with the Commercial Business Unit, JIT P/C Sales Support, Property/Casualty Business Units and the State RVPs to coordinate any agent training required.
  • Manage training schedule and conduct joint work required during initial training program.
  • Continue professional development by attending and completing educational courses pertinent to the position.
  • Work in partnership with the Agency Training team with design, development, and implementation of training programs.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

  • College degree (Business or Marketing degree preferred) plus 5 years' relevant experience required.
  • Insurance / financial services and sales or related experience preferred.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to work well with the agents/registered representatives in a multi-line exclusive agent channel.
  • Good problem solving, analytical, organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills and enjoy facilitating groups, public speaking and coaching individuals.
  • Must be a strategic thinker and can look at the big picture to determine what needs to be accomplished.
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records are required. Some travel will be required.
