Your Role
As a Diesel Technician II , you are instrumental in maintaining our luxury coach fleet. Your role encompasses both preventative maintenance and repair work on engines, transmissions, differentials, and other aspects of the coach. You will work alongside more senior technicians, gaining hands-on experience and receiving training to advance in your field. This position ensures that each vehicle operates flawlessly, providing exceptional travel experiences to our high-profile clients, including musicians, politicians, and celebrities. Focused on Volvo Diesel engines, you will apply your skills to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, contributing to our reputation as the premier luxury coach touring company in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, and other coach components, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with electrical and electronic systems, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Work alongside senior technicians, leveraging their expertise and receiving training to enhance your skills and advance in your career.
  • Break down complex tasks into manageable steps, gathering information and making informed decisions to resolve issues effectively.
  • Contribute to improving work methods, safety standards, and team performance by actively participating in training and suggesting operational enhancements.
  • Build productive relationships within the team and with external partners, addressing minor issues to keep projects on track and within deadlines.

Minimum Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair, particularly with large diesel engines.
  • Experience working on Volvo, Cummins, or Detroit diesel engines.

Preferred Requirements (Nice to Have)

  • Proficient in interpreting and troubleshooting pneumatic and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience working on luxury coaches.

Compensation details: 31-37 Hourly Wage
