About the Position: LIVE is seeking a highly qualified Program Manager to serve the Department of Energy (DOE) in support of the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) in Pheonix, Arizona.
The Program Manager (PM), an authorized representative with full authority to act for the Schedule Contractor. The PM is required to be onsite and be available during normal duty hours to discuss with the Contracting Officer (CO), Contract Specialist (CS), Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), or Alternate Contracting Officer's Representative (ACOR) contract issues and to oversee and manage contract performance. This role is contingent upon contract award. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
• Shall be responsible for delegating work, training, and ensuring that quality work products are produced within timeframes established by the task order, this PWS, the CO/CS or the COR/ACOR.
• Shall be the focus of interface between Government personnel for specific work teams, as applicable, through the CS or COR/ACOR and CO and the Schedule Contractor
• Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
• Ensures compliance with all Quality Assurance requirements and goals. • Responsible for managing, monitoring, and tracking WAPA services.
• Acts as the Contractor's representative ensuring that all task order requirements are met.
• Has primary responsibility for allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs.
• Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements.
• Plan and manage service schedules, quality assurance, and safety programs.
• Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from WAPA staff and USG representatives. Required Skills and Experience:
• U.S. Citizen.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with business management, contracts or related field.
• Ten (10) years project or program management and/or vehicle and fleet maintenance management support services with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in providing such services to large facilities or operations.
• Valid driver's license from home of record. • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (3/3 proficiency).
• Ability to pass a government background check. • Ability to perform all duties as assigned. Benefits:
