The Phoenix Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

We are looking for a dedicated and vigilant Safety and Security Advisor to join our team at Phoenix Job Corps. As a Safety and Security Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff, creating a learning environment that promotes personal development.
Responsibilities:
- Security Oversight: Implement and oversee security measures to safeguard the campus, including monitoring access, conducting regular patrols, and responding to security incidents.
- Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans, conduct drills, and provide training to staff and students on safety procedures.
- Crisis Management: Act as a point of contact during crises, coordinating with local authorities, and ensuring the safety and evacuation of individuals when necessary.
- Security Awareness: Promote a culture of safety and security awareness among students and staff through training programs and communication initiatives.
- Incident Reporting: Document and report security incidents, conduct investigations when required, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to address safety concerns, provide support for events, and contribute to a collaborative and secure campus environment.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures, and stay informed about emerging trends in campus safety.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Prefer Job Corps or related program experience. Must possess a valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and /or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
