Our client, Aerospace Manufacturing is seeking a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting. The ideal candidate will have Mechanical engineer, Gas Turbine/Rotor Dynamics which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay: $45 - $48/hr on W2
Rotor Dynamics Engineer / Gas Turbine Engine Thermal Engineer
Job Description:
The Turbomachinery and Heat Exchanger Analysis and Design group within the Mechanical Systems and Components (MS&C) directorate is responsible for the design, development and analysis of Environmental Control System (ECS) turbomachinery and heat exchangers, as well as electric traction drive motors. The successful applicant will be responsible for stress, vibration, and heat transfer analyses. Responsibilities include providing technical expertise on a variety of projects and programs. You will use your expert knowledge of engineering discipline and standards, processes and tools to ensure compliance to customer and program requirements. Other responsibilities include communicating with Project engineering teams, conduction of design reviews, presentations to internal and external customers and contributing to department process improvement initiatives.

• Design and analysis using complex finite element methods
• Provide technical oversight to global engineering teams across time zones
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Requirements validation

• Root Cause and Corrective Action
YOU MUST HAVE:
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience performing structural analysis on gas turbine engines and/or other structural, load bearing components and systems
• Proficiency in linear static, nonlinear/elasto-plastic, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, shock, harmonic, random vibration, & crack growth analyses
• Strong working knowledge of ANSYS finite element software & classical hand calculation methods
